Is there a setting to create PDFs without the job number?

I was having problems with printing PDFs and so updated to CUPS-PDF 2.4.6. It solved the problem but added another. The addition of unique job numbers has thrown a wrench into my workflow. Before adding another script to remove the job number, is there a setting that I can change to revert to the old behavior of CUPS-PDF?

Yes, edit /etc/cups/cups-pdf.conf and comment out the line that starts with Label.
